Notebooks....

These days I have so much going through my head, that often times I'm thinking something and before I know it, I'm speaking it! My son has come to me on a number of occassions and said,'Mommy, what did you say?' After I try and convince him that I was talking to myself, he just looks at me crazy!

When I was about nine years old I started writing in my first journal. It consisted of a bunch of notebook paper. Funny thing is, I still have it now. My journals give me so much insight as I look back and see where I've come from and through. Tonight... I have so much writing to catch up on. Many, many reasons, to catch up also! ;)

That dirty little word... Immigration

There were some interesting convo's today on Twitter about the topic of immigration and the 14th Amendment. Twitter is such a great place for that! I get to discuss topics with people that will not just agree with me to shut me up! They are going to try and shut me up by proving me to be wrong. This I enjoy, as long as the person I'm discussing this with is informed on the topic and understands that I'm not a politician so the thoughts I express are my own.

And on that note...

One argument was made that 'People' (read: White racist people) are waking up and seeing that America is becoming darker. This my friends... Is an ignorant comment. Yes there are many racist people walking among us, but they are few compared to those who see beyond color lines. After all, our President was voted in office by a majority of United States citizens,and the majority does not consist of 'us' of a darker skin.

Now.. My take...

I am glad that part of the Arizona legislation was blocked. Officers can not demand to see an immigrants 'papers' that declare he/she is now a citizen. I do believe that Arizona is heading in the right direction though. We spend so much time arguing that 'America is a free country' or 'this is not how we treat people in America', that we miss out on how this affects our economy, our jobs, our schools. You will find that most people who are against Arizona's legislation are either illegals or those that support illegals. My feeling is.. Get legal, or get out!! This can't be said any more clear that those five words.

Yeah....

So I completely fell off the wagon! I gave in a little after my last post about hanging in there! So many things new and old have been happening that I don't know where to begin or to end.
I've been in ATL for about 4 months now. An adult should never move in with another adult that they are not in a relationship with!! These short 4 months seem like an eternity. Buuutt... It's all coming to an end in about a week or two! I could not be more elated! God knows I love my mom with my whole heart but my love for her would be no less if I'm loving her from across town! Oh so much more to rant about... Stay tuned!

2 weeks???

Just looked over this little blog thing here and realized that it's been two weeks! I have fallen short a few times I won't lie! But... to a Facebook addict like myself I've done really good! Easter is around the corner, Easter is around the corner! Now I normally don't go to church on Easter, but this Easter I believe I will. I already have my daughters Easter dress, that she picked out by the way! So maybe time will move faster if I'm trying to prepare for that day!!LOL! That's another question no one can answer for me. Why is it everyone goes to church on Easter? That is the day I choose to not go! If God ever brings judgement on the church it will be on Easter or New Years. Then he kills 2 birds with 1 stone. LLLLOOOOLLLL!!!

Feeling of Freeeeee!!

So... it's no secret that there is going to most likely be drama involved if you're dealing with someone with kids. Especially if one of the parties has not moved on!!! For those that know... I have had my fair share of drama with my kids father. It's been a little under 3 years since he and I have been in a relationship, and 3 years ago I thought I would lose my mind!! Who have ever thought that there would be a time when he would ask to be apart of our lives again, and I would almost choke on the thought. Last year this time... Who knows? I may have taken him back but there is something great to be said about time. Ladies and Gents... if you can only make it past that one day then you get strength to make it to the next! Before you know it you can no longer look at that person the same anymore... That is where I stand today! Now.... I'm looking for some happiness... Well I'm looking for it to find me!:-)

Child Sup....

Wow... So Mathew Knowles, Beyonce's dad is ordered to pay child support for a child that has not even been proven to be his??!! This kind of foolery I will never understand. I am all for a man paying his child support through the court system if it has been proven that he won't pay it any other way. Buuuut, in this classic case, a week after the baby was born there is now an order in place. In fact she went to the courts for support before the baby was even born. So what happens if the baby was still born? What happens if after the March 1 DNA test, it is proven the baby is not his. Well, everything he has done are considered 'gifts'. Fellas get the short end of the stick on this one, and it sucks!!! It is sort of their own fault thought. For so many years, so many men haven't taken care of their kids and because of it, the courts intervene. Sooner or later the government will control the very air that you breathe and say that you have used it irresponsibly. People.... Let's be more responsible with our lives, our families and all of our resources!

Day 1... No FB!

Hi! My name is Rhiannon and I'm a Facebook junkie! I know I know, you are too right?? But I've got it badder (yes I know it's not a word!;-)) than most! I farm, I fish, I cook, I raise pets..... I am the person who clogs up your timeline with my achievement bonuses, my body count from Mafia Wars, or my chef specials of the day. With all this being said... I've decided to take a break from FB for 30 days. Today was just the first day and I got so much accomplished. I must admit I've looked down at my BlackBerry in agony about 40 times just dying to launch my FB app! Today did not drag by as I kept myself busy doing other 'little' things to occupy my time. Such as argue with Suntrust bank, or my former landlord who swears I missed October rent although I moved out in December. I guess they did me a favor by not evicting me??!! YEAH RIGHT! Side note... Never throw away receipts, I'm so glad I have mine! Well... I made it today! It's 5:22 time to hit the clock and get in traffic! I'm so thrilled:-/... Round 2 tomorrow!
